9:00 AM: First call of the day. I finished my morning coffee on the way over to the job in Southfield. When I arrived, I found out it was a pretty standard garbage disposal repair. I fixed the problem and advised the customer on the items he should avoid putting down the drain.
10:30 AM: For this job I had to head to Royal Oak with another Levine plumber. We were going over there to install a new water heater for a family of 5. They had been without hot water for a few days now so we wanted to get in and out as fast as possible. The woman greeted us at the door and we went right to work. Luckily, we had all the tools in our truck and it only took a few hours to get them up and running.
1:30 PM: Now it was time to head over to Wayne County in the town of Livonia. An older woman was having trouble with her toilet. From her description, I figured it was a simple solution and I had a replacement part in my truck all ready to go. I arrived and answered all of her questions and it was just as easy as I suspected. I was in and out in twenty minutes and she was extremely grateful.
2:30 PM: The boss had me stay in Wayne for the next job which I appreciated. It was a drain clog issue and I went in without much information. The family was very nice and I greeted the children as they arrived home from school. I did my best with the tools I had but I could tell there were some deeper rooted problems. I spoke with the homeowners about our sewer cleaning service and advised them on what I thought their best move was. They wanted to choose Levine because of my recommendation and we set them up with an appointment at the end of the week!
4 PM: I got a call to go checkout a home in Southfield on my way back to the office. They just had a few questions about the faucet we installed last month. I did the work so I knew the man already and it was nice to catch up with him. He just had a few questions about his faucet and drain that I was able to solve rather quickly. I never mind helping out an old customer with their concerns!
